Guide: How to Send Money Anywhere

Hello!
Have you ever had a situation where you needed to transfer money to a close friend, spouse, a family member or pay for some service, and apps like PayPal, the bank's app or the credit card app simply refused the transfer? (And in the best case they required actions that take a lot of time and require waiting for approvals?)

So there is an excellent solution for this, with reasonable, convenient fees and quick transfer times!
All these problems were solved for me when I discovered the smart app 'Wise' (<- click to register).

With over 10 million downloads on Google Play, it not only lets you choose the currency from which you will send and the currency that the sender will receive, it tells you in advance how long exactly the transfer will take and shows you in real-time every step.
In addition, it informs in advance of the number of fees (also gives the possibility to check comparisons) and there are even discounts for different countries in the conversion fees (such as Ukraine at the moment, due to the war - as of 2023).

To register, you need to identify yourself with an ID card that has some writing in English (such as a driver's license, for example), take a selfie (for facial recognition), and enter details related to your bank account (so that they know from where and where to take and give the money).

And now for the transaction process:

*Here comes an important part that may confuse you. It can cause the transfers to fail and the money to return as a refund (however, the credit takes about 4 to 10 days to arrive, so you should avoid it).*

To send money correctly, click the green send button at the bottom of the app and you will reach the currency selection page (sending and receiving currencies).

The currency of the receipt should be the same as the currency in which the recipient's card is issued!
For example - an Ukrainian account with a card that accepts USD, will not accept Ukrainian UAH currency at all and will not even try to convert to it.
From experience - it is better to ask the recipient of the money to give details of the account associated with the card that receives the country's local money. Otherwise, if you try to make a transfer to the receiving currency USD, for example, you will need a SWIFT-type transfer that takes more fees and much more time (including the need for the bank's approval! Not automatic - inefficient)

The details that the recipient will have to send are the IBAN number of the account, residential address, full name in English, and zip code (postcode).
